Hello Fellow Yogi! My name is Jaime Aria and I would love to share the practice of yoga with you in a way that makes YOU the most comfortable. Yoga has the power to be incredibly transforming for your mind and body, however, there are limitations in taking a studio class. My classes are designed to leave you feeling rejuvenated by stretching, toning, and challenging your body! Students can expect a custom program to fit their specific needs and goals. Over the past 4 years, I have worked in as an instructor in studios, corporate offices, gyms, and private settings. I have two 200 hour RYT Yoga Certifications- One in Power Yoga (hot and sweaty), and the other in Anusara Yoga (therapeutic alignment). In addition, I am also certified in a yoga-based workout that uses weights. In addition to one-on-one classes, I also offer private group classes for any special occasion and corporate yoga. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In this initial meeting, we will get to know each other, I will ask questions about your body- your goals, how your body moves. I will lead you through subtle movements and postures. I want to make sure we are a good fit and that you are getting what you want out of yoga! If you would like me to teach a group, this process is far less informal. If this is an event that you want to tailor specific music to id be happy to create a custom playlist!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am 400 hours certified in Yoga. 200 RYT in Power Vinyasa (hot and sweaty) and 200 RYT in Anusara (therapeutic). Additionally, I am trained in a yoga-based workout that uses weights to increase strength.
