About
I have been teaching violin since I was 18- it is a big passion of mine. I teach all levels of students, from beginners to most advanced. I started out teaching European style because my background is coming from Moscow Conservatory, Almaty Conservatory and then Eastman School of Music in upstate NY. Then in 2017 I felt I needed to be more complete as a teacher and learned at Teacher Training for Suzuki Method at Ithaca Suzuki Institute in Ithaca, NY. Now I’m teaching combining these styles in my teaching. I “tailor” my approach to each student individually, trying to meet their needs and goals to the fullest. Lessons are fun and little pressure but packed with information and my own demonstration on instrument at any time. I prepare for auditions, concerts and important performances, but there are students in my studio that only want to learn how to play and that’s fine, too.
I enjoy process of teaching a lot- how my students grow how they learn and how they change in course of their studies. Become better people better musicians better players.
