About this pro

My name is David Kendal and I'm a certified yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance of Canada, I completed a 280 hr Yoga training, and have been teaching for the last 7 years.
I use my Hatha based yoga sequences and instruction to help others feel happy, healthy, and confident in their own body.

I incorporate a mixture of yoga, stretching, and mediation into my sessions for a rejuvenating and empowering experience. I also enjoy incorporating some positivity and mindfulness into my teachings. I will tailor your sessions to your specific needs, desires, and fitness goals. I mostly work with introductory - intermediate levels of experience in yoga.

Im located in Palm Desert, in the El Paseo area, up the mountain. I’m happy to teach you here, in my large outdoor space, or for your convenience, I can travel to your location, assuming you have a suitable space to practice. I will travel as far as Palm Springs area as well.

David is a very energetic and enthusiastic yoga teacher, always making his students of every level feel comfortable and safe in practice. He is very keen at catering to each individual yogi and their needs, and has excellent knowledge of the yoga asana and variations of them for different levels of practice. David believes in hard work and dedication to the practice of yoga, and is willing and ready to share his knowledge with others. Among his many attributes, David is a strong, powerful, compassionate and devoted teacher to yoga and can help bring your practice to a new and exciting level. Namaste.”

"David's tremendous enthusiasm for yoga is contagious. He understands that we come to classes with different bodies that are able to do different things, and adapts his lessons to make yoga an enjoyable, healthy and challenging experience for everyone."

  • David Wein

David is a natural yoga instructor and teaches from the heart. He not only loves teaching the practice of yoga, he also spends time discussing alignment, and the reasons behind why we do certain sequences of poses which make his classes interesting as well as a good workout. David not only gives great physical cues, but also brings attention to breath. He has great depth of knowledge in the culture, philosophy, and spirituality of yoga and his class is well thought out with specific goals in mind. He takes his yoga practice seriously but is always attentive to his student's needs and teaches with an open and easy-going approach.”

  • Irv Siegel

"I have thoroughly enjoyed David's yoga classes. David is a well-balanced (no pun intended) yoga teacher with an emphasis on the anatomy of the poses and the overall benefits of practicing yoga."
