I am a member of Music Teacher
Associate Of California (MTAC) with more than 21 years of teaching experience. I have helped students to achieve The MTAC Certificate of Merit. I provide online lessons and in person sessions at students' place.
My teaching philosophy is to make learning music fun and exciting! I always encourage my students to learn the music that they find most appealing, rather than using a specific curriculum and method book. I teach private lessons and have had the experience of working with hundreds of students ranging from beginners with no experience to advanced students. I look forward to helping you reach your musical skills!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching philosophy is based in the belief that learning music should be fun and exciting!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive formal training in piano and music, along with more than 25 years of professional teaching experience. I have studied piano performance, music theory, and related musical subjects, and have continued developing my teaching skills through years of working with children and adults of different ages and skill levels.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. My standard rates are:
• 30-minute private piano lesson: $50
• 45- minute private piano lesson: $60
I offer lessons for children and adults and can adjust the lesson length and frequency based on each student’s needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching piano because of my love for music and my desire to share that passion with others. Over the years, teaching has become very rewarding for me, especially seeing students gain confidence, improve their skills, and develop a genuine love for music. I have now been teaching piano and music for more than 25 years to children and adults of different ages and skill levels.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children and adults from approximately 6 to 75 years old, from complete beginners to advanced students. I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s age, experience, learning style, and individual goals. I enjoy helping students build strong piano skills while developing confidence and a love of music.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One recent event I am especially fond of was seeing a student make noticeable progress after working consistently on a challenging piece of music. Watching the student become more confident and finally play the piece successfully was very rewarding. Moments like this remind me why I love teaching piano.
