I feel so fortunate that I am able to share my passion of music to people everyday. I have performed in night clubs, been a music director of a church and have played at numerous venues throughout Southern Cal. Thank you, Teddy 🎶 Teddy Newsom, the Chairman of the Laguna Beach chapter of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, is an accomplished musician with over 30 years of professional teaching experience. Ms. Teddy, as most of her students call her, embarked on her music career as a headliner and performer at some of the most exclusive venues in Southern California. During that time she earned her degree in Piano Pedagogy from Cal State Fullerton, California. Additionally, she served as the Music Director of a prominent church in San Gabriel Valley for over thirteen years. She is proficient in areas of classical, jazz, adult contemporary and pop music, and has a knack for combining theoretic knowledge of academia with professional experience to maximize student results.
