Rebecca Portillo's Violin Studio
About
Both in-person and online students leave their lessons feeling encouraged and knowing how to practice instead of just "what" to practice! I use my 35 years of playing experience, 25+ years of teaching experience, and a Suzuki-blended approach to help anyone learn to play the violin, regardless of age or ability. I also especially enjoy working with neurodivergent students and helping those who may have had a rough start in music in the past. I have a BA in music education from CSU, Northridge. My main instrument is violin, but I have taught many others, as I used to be an orchestra teacher! My goal is to help you find the joy in making music!
