Hello all!
My name is Divynah and I am a voice teacher, singer, songwriter, producer, and vocal engineer and I can guarantee that I am one of the most skilled and knowledgeable teachers in the city. I have extensive training and performance experience in a wide variety of musical genres. My clients sing everything from OPERA to POP / R&B and much more. And ALL of my students make dramatic changes just within the first couple of lessons!
There is NO GENRE OR STYLE OF MUSIC that I am limited to teaching! So whether you are getting ready to audition for the next season of "The Voice", preparing your audition repertoire for an opera program, or recording an album, I can help you get the technique and vocal clarity that will get you in action, as well as performance skills and stage presence! (if desired)
Background:
I graduated with a BM in Vocal performance from one of the top music programs in the country(UNCG), where I was trained by one of the BEST voice teachers, as well as one of the best vocal therapists at UNC-Chapel Hill Voice Center in vocal health and pedagogy.
(I was methodically taught how to care for injured vocal cords and how to get them back to health, Correct and healthy speaking habits, and even eliminating body tensions and habits that stop you from letting out your true voice)
In college I was trained in opera, musical theater, and jazz. But after I graduated with my music degree and performed for a few years, I moved to LA and began apprenticing for some producers in the music industry that taught me how to songwrite, produce and engineer multiple popular music genres. (pop, rock, hiphop, folk, world, electronic, etc)
I now own a music production company that teaches lessons, vocal recording & production and more!
