Studio Chopin

Founded by Roza and Douglas Yoder, Studio Chopin has provided exceptional classical piano instruction in Los Angeles for more than 40 years. The studio is rooted in a distinguished European musical tradition that traces directly to Frédéric Chopin through generations of renowned pianists and teachers, while maintaining a welcoming environment for students of all ages and levels.

Students study in a unique three-story Mediterranean hillside studio featuring multiple Steinway grand pianos, including a 9-foot concert grand. Lessons are designed to help each student develop strong technical foundations, musical understanding, artistic expression, and the confidence to perform at their highest potential.

Over the years, Studio Chopin students have earned admission to some of the world's most respected universities and conservatories, including Juilliard, Curtis, Harvard, Stanford, USC, UCLA, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Others have pursued music simply for personal fulfillment, enrichment, and a lifelong appreciation of the arts.

Beyond private instruction, Studio Chopin is dedicated to fostering a vibrant musical community through performances, masterclasses, and educational opportunities.
