Holly Ota teaches piano in her home studio in Watsonville. She holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northwestern University in Illinois. She is now in her 27th year of giving lessons. Holly customizes piano lessons to the individual interests and needs of each student. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels. Younger students are presented in public recitals twice each year and adults are encouraged to perform as well. All students participate in informal piano gatherings in her home several times a year.She is also the Music Director at Watsonville First United Methodist Church - directing both vocal and bells choirs and a children's outreach music program. She taught public school music classes for 10 years. In the summers she offers a children's music theater camp. She often performs as a vocal soloist.
