I have been teaching beginner / intermediate piano for 17 years. I am also a 5 year k-12 school teacher and military veteran. I have the honesty, authenticity, and commitment to teach piano to you or your little ones. I make learning this wonderful art fun and rewarding.
Best of all my students learn the academics of reading music and the theory that will translate to any instrument after this fundamental learning experience.

Nothing beats the heart working satisfaction of seeing my students reach the pinnacle moment where they can play something beautiful and that they are proud of. It's like a light goes off, something changes and I know they've fallen in love with playing music. It's one of the greatest moments of my life and I love seeing it happen with my students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with Teaching Little Fingers to Play book. We learn the keys, the finger numbers, and a little bit about note patterns. Student's will play their first song before the end of the first lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
17 years teaching piano and 5 years as a successful high school teacher.
