I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of U.C. Berkeley, with over 40 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels of accomplishment.

I am a member of the Music Teachers Association of California, which among other things allows me to participate in the esteemed Certificate of Merit Program for pre-college students.

I teach only private students, and can thus tailor my teaching to the needs of every student.

I love introducing all students to the beauty of good music.

Watching a student progress to more difficult and satisfying repertoire is the greatest joy of my work.
