My name is Jeff Wilder, Im a music education specialist and a performer/composer for 20 years. My background and experience of teaching a variety of instruments, groups and ages has really contributed to my ability to reach just about any student and map out their music journey one step at a time.
I spent 12 years working for the school district directing band/Jazz, orchestra and Drumline. In the past 7 years I began focusing more on my private students and ensuring their success which led to me establishing a local music school here in Indio and turning our students into talented performers!
Our music instructors are professional musicians who are gifted teachers that instruct music “full-time”. Our curriculum and method tracks students progress while personalizing the particular interests of the student. I'm known for getting results and sustaining interest.
Any style, song or type of music desired, we use effective and tested methods that work time after time while learning the appealing material that inspired you to play.
We enjoy what I do as it will show.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assign a weekly timeslot that works for their schedule.
I first began by teaching the student how to practice at home. How to repeat the same steps as we build and move forward through a series of music requirements/exercises, method book for sight reading and to be trained how to learn music by ear as well as study project songs of the students choice.
