Marquez Music
About
As a musician, I have been playing with school bands and private combos for 7 years, but have been playing music for as long as I can remember. I have a passion for increasing my own tessitura in order to pass on that knowledge to my students. I am constantly learning new things as musicians, and as such, my students will continue to learn new things tailored to them that a conventional teacher may not ever cover. I can teach for all levels of brass and woodwinds, along with piano and music theory. I am also very comfortable working with younger students and those who have never touched their prospective instrument. Call today for a quote!
I personally love being able to foster a deeper love and understanding of music for my students, and myself. Since music is very much a subjective art, many times I find myself learning from the perspective of my students something I wouldn't have seen myself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will start with a complimentary introduction to my class, where they can 'take it for a spin' so to speak. During this time the customer can decide whether or not to continue with the class. After the complimentary lesson, a recurring date for lessons will be decided, if the customer decides to continue. All complimentary lessons must take place at my house (in order to keep gas prices down :))
