My goal with my students is to find the music that makes them excited to practice. Seeing my students fall in love with music they're learning -- whether it's through soundtracks from their favorite movies or Irish folk music-- is what gets me excited to teach. My teaching style is gentle but firm, a great fit for children and students interested in picking up the violin for the first time!
I've been playing violin since I was ten years old and had a number of passionate teachers that passed along their love for the violin to me. It's my honor to continue that tradition and get even more people to love playing as much as I do.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to balance technique with fun-- my students will spend half the first half of the lesson working on technical exercises and the second half working on a song of their choosing
