About
I am able to comfortably work with students of any age and I'm comfortable teaching any style of music.
I also know how to mix up my lessons with students by having them playing a song that they're working on, having them do music theory games, practicing with flashcards, and answering whatever questions they have. It's always been a passion to help my students progress in their musical journey.
As a bonus, I am also able to play any song whether by sheet music or by listening to it.
I have over 6 years of experience in teaching individual music lessons, and have been playing all my life. As another bonus, I tune pianos.
I love working with a person one on one and helping them in their musical journey. It excites me to see them progress in this area.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. I mix up my lessons by helping students to learn concepts by practicing with flashcards, answering whatever music related questions they have, playing music theory games, and working on their songs assigned to them during the week.
2. Working with students at their desired pace so as to avoid overwhelming or boring any of them to death.
3. Making the lessons enjoyable and positive for them, despite their responsibility to practice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took piano lessons for years and was self taught after that.
