Greetings! My name is Dámaris, I have been a musician most of my life, and I have been a certified beginning and intermediate piano instructor for close to four years. I love working with all ages but especially children who are excited about learning music! Guitar is my second favorite instrument to teach. I am a very patient and practical teacher, and I enjoy seeing my pupils develop not only their skills but also a passion for music. I include practical music theory as part of the normal instructing time. I am familiar with Alfred’s Method, Piano Adventure, John Thompson’s Course, and more, though I prefer to use Piano Safari, a newer method with children. I work with each student individually to come up with an appropriate course designed to fit their current abilities and future goals.
