Anna Vasilyeva Piano Lessons

Anna is an exceptional teacher. She is skilled, knowledgeable, patient, kind, spirited, organized, punctual, methodical, and highly effective in imparting her skill and knowledge. Anna has been my teen-aged daughters teacher for nearly three years. My daughters have been students of the piano for many years and due to our moves and those of our teachers, we have had a number of teachers before her. Therefore, it is with a good measure of comparison that I recommend Anna wholeheartedly. Additionally, Anna has managed her online lessons necessitated by the pandemic as impressively as her in-person lessons. We are fortunate to have her.

Anna is the best teacher I have ever had! She is attentive and she pushes me in exactly the right ways to learn challenging music. She has been my instructor for 8+ years and I have learned so much music and so much about music from her. I am an adult (43 yrs old) and she has always been patient and understanding with me. I have performed at recitals as well and I have seen her other (usually younger) students perform. She is exceptional with children and I have seen that during the recitals. She knows what to say to them when they are nervous and I have seen them improve from recital to recital. She and I always play a duet during the recitals and it is my favorite part! Playing music with her and knowing that she is always pushing me to improve keeps me going. She clearly cares about her students and is always there when I have questions for her. She puts in a lot of time finding music for me and if she does it for me, she must do it for all her students which is extremely helpful! I will continue learning from her for as long as she teaches and I feel very lucky to have found her as a teacher.
