Music Lessons For Songwriting, Voice, Flute, And Improvisation

I've been a musician for the last 20 years, in which I am a graduate from Interlochen Arts Academy ('13) and Berklee College of Music ('18) with a dual degree in Songwriting and Professional Music.

For many years I have been a performing vocalist, flutist, and songwriter, in which I both accompany myself on guitar and ukulele as well as playing in a band. I originally had a classical foundation, but nowdays I play and write in many different styles, including jazz, folk/alternative, pop, R&B, hiphop, and smooth jazz.

I teach songwriting, voice, flute, and improvisation. I also teach scat singing as well for any vocalists who wish to learn. If there is any style of music you wish to study that's outside of my wheelhouse, I can easily adapt to most styles and assist you to the best of my abilities. I am happy to teach whatever you are interested in learning individually. I always strive to teach my students the tools they need to advance their abilities both musically and technincally, as well as teaching material that inspires them to learn, create, and have fun!

Music is the one thing in life I am most passionate about. To me, it is truly a gift, and I am passionate about sharing that gift with as many people as I can wether it be through performing or teaching. When my musical knowledge and expereince can inspire and excite others, that's the biggest thing that makes my work so rewarding and gives me my purpose in life.
