Sandra taught piano to both of our children starting at around 5-6 years old, through highschool. She was referred by a friend who’s daughter took lessons.
We have fantastic memories of Sandra hosting musical recitals with our children, both in our own homes and in venues Sandra selected on the area. Incredible fun. Some of her students must be Chopin protégés!
Somehow my son convinced Sandra to teach him guitar. This started a whole new musical journey. When my adult age kids come home, Rob and I are ‘blessed’ with their enthusiasm to tickle the ivories! As adults, they still can sit down at a piano, read music and deliver a fun and lively session. And, we have an abundance of ‘Mrs Wilmer stories’. Not only was Sandra a top notch instructor, but a firm, effective (and fun) disciplinarian.
We enjoyed all of those years, Sandra! Thank you!

Ms. Wilmot was my first piano teacher and was always very good at getting me to work hard. She helped me to be better than I thought I could be and was always very encouraging. She knows a lot about music and even continued my training after I moved away, instructing me over Skype from home.
