About

The arts are my full time job! I generally supplement education with other activities such as music directing, theatrical performance, voice over work, accompaniment and more, but education is my main focus. My work often takes me to universities for adjunct work, or touring around the United States, performing and conducting charity events as well! During the week I work with around 40 students, individually, in private lessons.

My daughter has been working with Jennifer at Music4Me for seven years (since age 9). Suffice it to say that we would not have continued for that many years if Jennifer were not a truly exceptional teacher and mentor. From the very first lesson, Jennifer created a warm, positive, and supportive environment that helped my daughter feel confident and excited to learn. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient, encouraging, and passionate about her work.
My daughter has grown so much under Jennifer’s guidance. Her vocal range, control, and technique have improved noticeably, but even more importantly, so has her self-confidence. Jennifer celebrates her progress every step of the way, and it’s clear she truly cares about her students success.
If youre looking for a vocal coach who is skilled, kind, and genuinely invested in helping young singers thrive, I can’t recommend Jennifer highly enough!

    Frequently asked questions

Many people arrive at their first private lesson with a lot of anxiety, excitement, nervousness and expectation!  All of those feelings are normal and part of the learning process!  We will start with what is the most important to me: clarifying my business expectations for you, answering important questions, listening to your own dreams and preferences, and setting a clear set of goals and deadlines for how we will accomplish these tasks.  Because parental clients and I rarely have in-depth discussions (start of year/open-house) this is one of the few times we may have to establish a working relationship.  Getting contact information, establishing a professional social media connection, instructing parents on how children can best advance and advising students on attainable goals is the first essential step in what I hope will be a life-long process.  Please bring your enthusiasm, questions and paperwork, but leave any impatience, distrust or personal insecurity at home, if possible :)

I have a Masters in the Arts! I am a professional LA Actress and Broadway veteran, having performed in the Broadway International Tour of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I have worked on movie sets, commercials lots and tons of regional theater opportunities. I love working with students of all skill levels and ages! I am also a collegiate professor having worked at 4 colleges and currently teaching at APU and Citrus College. I am a professional accompanist and recently assisted a student on procuring an international job via HBO that featured her as a singer and ukulele player.
Lessons are generally $25-$30 per half hour session and there are various pricing packages for participants...
I have a Masters in Music Education, so teaching and performing was always the goal. I began mentorship and teaching while in grad school and have enjoyed extensive performance and teaching experience over the last 25+ years at the collegiate, high school, elementary and private levels.
I love working with students of all ages and skill levels! I've worked with as young as three years old and as mature as 93! Let's play!
I recently set up a professional recording session for my students so they could experience the benefits of live performance in a focused setting. We often enjoy in-person performance opportunities onstage, or sometimes schedule a private karoake room for a community performance party!
Identify what your major objectives and goals are, and share them with me at your first free consultation! Every artist is unique and distinctive, and developing your literal and metaphoric artistic voice is one of the most important things you can do!
What do I want and how am I going to get it? Am I willing to put in the practice and focus it takes to grow? Can I be honest with myself about personal strengths and weaknesses?
