About

My service stands out because I am an excellent communicator. I can simplify any concept or passage of music so that the student will get it extremely easily. This maximizes each lesson's time and greatly benefits the student in the long run. I set clear goals with each piece and lesson, so that the student knows that he/she is continuing to succeed. I also make videos that the student may reference during the week to improve their practice skills. My simple teaching style is coupled with my lengthy experience and education, which includes Masters and doctoral degrees in music. All this results in a high quality musical education for the student.

I love helping people discover and actualize their talents and love for music.

Mark has been our kids (aged 11 and 9) piano teacher for a couple years. He is very professional and takes the time to adjust his teachings so that both kids can understand it at their individual levels. Mark is very patient with the kids. He is also very flexible with his schedule, accommodating the times when we need to reschedule the kids lesson. It has been very convenient to have Mark come to the house to give the kids their lessons. Mark strikes a balance between teaching piano in a way that the kids can understand it, but also instilling the fundamentals of reading music and understanding the musicality of the songs they are learning. It is evident that Mark is very knowledge and has a passion for the piano; that comes through in his teaching.

My 8 year old son just started taking piano lessons a little over a month ago. He LOVES it!! Mark is an amazing teacher who arrives to our house on time every time! He works around our schedule. My son askes a ton of questions during the lesson and Mark answers all of them with patience, understanding, and professionalism. I never have to ask my son to practice the piano because he truly enjoys playing and looks forward to his lessons each week. This love of leaning the piano truly came from Mark. So thank you for making this such a fun positive adventure for my son!!

Mark is an excellent piano teacher. Our daughter has excelled in only six months and enjoys her piano lessons. He offers recitals two times a year. He is responsive, professional, and if I need to change dates around he is flexible. I highly recommend him as a piano teacher!

My daughter, Julia, has been working with Mark since we moved to California 3 years ago. Mark is extremely patient, kind, knowledgable, dedicated and attentive, according to my daughter. Julia has grown into a strong pianist as shes worked with Mark while enjoying fun and enriching experiences at the same time rather than placing unneeded pressure on her. He has pushed her talent to its fullest extent, while giving her positive feedback. We are very thankful to have Mark as Julias piano teacher.

Mark is an outstanding teacher. We have found him to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, his style of teaching resonates very well our daughter. Under Marks instruction, her abilities have elevated, and she has better comprehension of her music. She is enjoying her lessons and practice a great deal more. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone taking lessons from Mark.

Frequently asked questions

I have a phone meeting with the new customer during which I explain pricing and schedule, answer any and ask questions, and set a day/time for a trial lesson. I then have the trial lesson and proceed to schedule continuous lessons from there. The process is very fluid and easy.

Für Elise Piano School just had its Winter Recital in December. All of the students did a fantastic job and had fun playing for people and earning their trophies.
