What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate the students knowledge and abilities in the kitchen and start with the basics, knife skills, cooking techniques and overall passion to learn to cook.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Culinary Arts as well as Food and Beverage Mgmt with over 30 years of cooking experience in the industry. I have worked for large corporations and small family owned establisments rounding out my knowledge of cuisines and techniques.
How did you get started teaching?
I wrote a curriculum some 8 yrs. ago for a non profit to teach youth and young adults about Culinary Arts..
