About this pro

We have over 25 years of teaching beginners to advanced students. We teach on site, or we can send an instructor right to you.

We offer lessons on several instruments and vocal coaching. We offer a free trial lesson to make sure it's a good fit.

We know how to keep lessons fun and productive so our students can make good progress, and Presto--They are musicians.

We love to share the excitement of learning a new song and getting better on their chosen instruments or singing performance.

It is a joy to see students progress and feel confident in their musicianship.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We start where they are. Their lessons are paced on their own progress every week. We teach all aspects of music so they can easily switch from one instrument to another or to singing, etc.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have several instructors who have local performing experience, as well as working with kids.

We have piano and guitar instructors, as well as vocal coaches. We teach some woodwinds.

The owner, Krista, has been performing, accompanying and directing groups of singers, playing for school musicals, etc., for more than 25 years.

We have a staff of friendly, professionally competent voice and instrumental instructors ready to help new and experienced students reach their goals.

Jamie has been performing locally, including Music Circus and Valley Choral Society. She can help with ear training and voice strengthening. She also teaches early grade piano.

We have other instructors for group music classes and private piano.

Presto! Music is a vendor for several charter schools

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We do. Check out the website at

How did you get started teaching?

We all started with performing and branched out to teaching as a natural part of sharing our talents.

What types of students have you worked with?

Absolute beginners, all ages

Young beginners, ages 4+

Adult students, beginner to intermediate

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Book a trial lesson. We offer a trial lesson so you can see if our format works for your learning style.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How long should I commit? We suggest 2-3 months for new students to see whether there is interest. Based on practice logs and progress, you can see how much can be learned in a short time, and if you want to invest further.
