About

I've found coaching gratifying for 31 years. I treat each student as an individual by learning to understand her or his personality. I collaborate with students so they gradually learn to coach themselves. My students improve.

I really enjoy collaborating with students and passing on what I've learned. I'm comfortable mentoring students of all ages. Several students have earned tennis scholarships for college.

I was also the UC Davis Head Men's Tennis Coach for 19 years. I coached eight All-Americans and was a two-time West Region Coach of the Year.

I started as the Sacramento State Assistant Men's Tennis Coach in 1991.

I collaborate with students of all ages.

I am fond of every experience where a student improves and feels a sense of accomplishment.

A student should ask any prospective teacher what his or her approach to teaching is and what his or her track record is.

Students should ask themselves what they are willing to do mentally and physically in order to attain their goals.
