I'm really glad I found this music school for my kids. I was worried about the quality of taking the piano lessons online since my kids are taking the ABRSM and certificate of merit test next year. After the consultation, I decided to sign up for both kids for piano lessons and ABRSM theory classes. Crystal and Amanda responded fast to my request. They are both very patient, nice, and most importantly, very professional and experienced at teaching and preparing tests. I would recommend this music school to anyone who needs professional advice on choosing music lessons. Because there are just so many! Since this school locates in Millbrae I am planning to return to the school when the pandemic is over. Hope this review helps!

“I recently am looking for piano online lessons for my son and my friend’s used to take lessons with Teacher Amanda and I decided to sign up for a trial lesson to try it out. My son is very happy after the trial lesson and we decided to continue. Teacher Amanda is very kind and patience. She prepared many music games that kids would enjoy. I would highly recommend!”

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The trial lesson is offered before officially signing up.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Masters in Piano Performance.

Whilst we studied for our Master's, we were required to take courses related to teaching music to younger kids and how to work with another musician in our music ensemble lessons.

We were also required to research and to be familiarized with music exams.

How did you get started teaching?

It all started small.

We would like to share the happiness that a person can gain from being musical, from learning a new song, from succeeding at a new technique.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types and all ages.

Either the music is your long-lost dream - or music is your new-found hobby.

Either you need a break from reality - or you would like to accomplish something new.
