My private vocal instructions are one - hour sessions. Each lesson is designed to the goals and needs of each student. The first half of the lesson we work on technique, working on vocal range, working through the “breaks” or cracks” of the voice called “bridging", and breath control so phrases of songs and longer sustained notes can be done with ease to name a few. The second half of the lesson we work on a song of your choice applying these aspects. I also have a LARGE library of music for you to choose from that also includes rare and not in print musical gems. I have a recording studio, so students are free to work in it to accelerate learning and you will get to take home recording as markers of your progress. For those students interested in performing, I have performing opportunities throughout the year and I also inform you if there are any upcoming auditions in San Diego.

One-hour private vocal sessions are available for for Drop-ins, Bi-weekly and Weekly clients. I am the only voice teacher in San Diego that has Broadway and National Touring credits, so those interested in performing or possibly going professional, I guide them through the business aspect of the business side of Show Business. I have had much experience in Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop, Country and Musical Theatre. I work with many students from bands and solo artists working on recording deals and part of what I do here at the studio is assist with artist development. My studio is located in my home in Pacific Beach. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have further questions.

My diary from 1982 under dreams says

" Some day I hope to be on Broadway and then later in life teach singing to others" My 15 years in New York as performer have given me special skills of experience. It is my PAsSION to teach and pass along my first love to others to make them their personal best and to grow each individual as an artist.
