I am a violinist studying Music Performance at San Diego State University. I am currently working as a part time violin instructor at music studios in both Mira Mesa and Chula Vista. I am currently interested in building my private student base close to my home in Imperial Beach, as well as SDSU. I am a fun, energetic teacher who focuses on building a strong technical foundation while striving to make lessons an enjoyable experience. I believe that when a teacher is enthusiastic about their craft, their students will be excited to play and practice new repertoire. I teach all of my students with the intention of training them to become professional musicians. I consider myself to be very friendly, professional, and most importantly, patient.

Five stars for Jasmin! I decided to finally learn violin after 60 years. I chose her based on reviews and a recommendation from my local violin shop. She has been amazing!!!! I didnt think playing violin would be as hard as it is, but her passion and patience has made it so much easier to get through the steep learning curve. A couple of times I have thought about giving up but her encouragement and support has helped me continue on. I have finally reached a point where I am confident and my neighbors no longer need to shut their windows when I play. I am so happy I made the decision to bring music into my life. The decision was mine, but I could never have made it happen without the help of Jasmin!!

We have been taking online lessons with Jasmin and so far they are going great! She was recommended to us by the High Schools music director to prepare for the freshman music program. She has been working with our son twice a week and his progress has been amazing. His can now play his audition piece flawlessly and with emotion. I can see why she is so highly recommended.

Jasmin is such a joy to work with! We decided to teach the kids an instrument while they were home from school. I asked several parents for a recommendation and Jasmins name kept coming up. I was concerned she wouldnt be available because of her popularity, but she made time and made us feel like we were her only students. The kids love her and I am seeing a lot of improvement in the short time they have been playing. Jasmin is an amazing teacher and we will be continuing our lessons well after the summer is over.

I didnt appreciate Jasmins talent until we moved. My 10 year old son studied with her for two years. He showed a real aptitude and passion for the violin. He often spoke of wanting to play professionally. When we were transferred to Virginia we found a new teacher so he could continue his passion. Over the next couple months he started losing interest. When I asked why he said that he missed Jasmin. Now that we are back in Chula Vista she is teaching him again and his passion has been renewed. If we have to move again we will continue with her on zoom.
