About
I have taught private drumset lessons to students of all ages and abilities since 2014 and I love it. I strive to share my passion for the drums with my students and I understand the potential impact that learning an instrument may have on a student's wellbeing. My lessons are organized and my kind and supportive nature has helped me excel as a teacher. I genuinely care for my students' musical and personal growth. Additionally, I have several years of experience working with children with disabilities and have seen the great benefits these children receive from learning the drums. Most important, I make sure my students are always having fun!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like chatting with the student or parent about what they might be looking for, as well as get an idea of the student's experience and musical interests, if any. In our first lesson, we will talk about what the drums do for the music, the student will learn how to read drumset music notation, play their first beats, as well as play along to music. We Will Rock You by Queen is usually my song of choice here :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Spent the last 8 plus years as a professional working musician, playing all styles of music, as well as teaching private drumset lessons to students of all ages.
