About
I've been studying and playing piano since 2002 and teaching since 2010. In those years I focused on the way of learning: first, doing some research and trying to understand how I learned to play, and then looking for the most effective ways to transmit this methodology to my students.

About the lessons
I believe that a lesson should be entertaining and meaningful for the student, which is why I prefer to work with the songs (or pieces) that he or she chooses. Something we usually do in class is choose a song and adapt it so that the student can play it at a level that matches he's or she's current ability. You can play any song no matter how difficult it may seem, even if it has no piano in it; the only important thing is to adapt it and, of course, at the beginning that will be my job, but you'll learn how to do it too!
I also think it's crucial to understand what you're playing and how you're doing it, so we will analyze the song technically (how to choose the proper fingers, how to coordinate both hands, what are the best hand positions, etc.) and musically (how the melody is composed, why certain notes are combined, etc.).
