I played the violin for 20 years. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in violin performance. During that career, I had opportunities to perform not only classical pieces but various contemporary styles, too, at Ewha Womans University in Korea and at University of Cincinnati. Assimilated to various styles as a performer, I began my film scoring studies at UCLA Extension. For now, I train in composing, recording, mixing, and mastering our original pieces.

I would highly recommend Jinee for anybody who wants to study violin. She gives a very clear idea on what to focus on. I truly enjoy her lessons and I am seeing a lot of progress!

Ms. Jinees violin lessons are not easy. She makes you practice many different pieces in one lesson and expects you to perform above par for all pieces every week. It was difficult but with her demands, your skills would elevate exponentially. Her teachings are purely in experience and it does not feel like you are at school learning from a book. Her availability in answering questions were always on time, and looked to be always prepared for the next lesson. 100% Dedicated.
