About
I have grown up my whole life living and breathing classical music. If that's what you are interested in I can certainly help you on your classical journey. However, I have also managed to use my classical training to create a career also playing Pop Music. I have performed with the likes of Elton John to Machine Gun Kelly and have recorded with Justin Bieber, Big Sean etc. I can show you how to create your own incredible style which merges both classical and pop music which I think is a very unique asset!
I love helping my students realize their musical goals. The violin is one of the hardest instruments yet also the most beautiful. It is so inspiring to see the work my students put in week after week, pushing through the challenges and finding their true sound. I work with people from all walks of life and to me there is no greater joy than seeing one of my students put another piece together in their musical puzzle.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We asses musical goals together and come up with a plan so that my students can play their preferred genre at a high level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a double degree in Classical Music and Popular Music from the University of Southern California. I have been playing the violin for 20 years now, 10 professionally and I also teach with a Non-Profit Organization called A Place Called Home in Los Angeles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I always offer one free trial lesson to see if things are a good fit. Then, I usually charge $70 an hour, but am open to working with different budgets if we can find a price that works for both of us.
How did you get started teaching?
I first started teaching elementary school students when I was in high-school and have been teaching ever since over the last 10 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students at every level from both complete beginners to fellow professionals who are looking to learn new techniques and styles.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My private student Noah playing through one of his favorite songs from one of his video games. He was so happy he had to go show his brother right away.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take a few lessons with different people and take note of how you feel after each lesson. If you feel particularly comfortable and inspired by one teacher, go for them!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I tell all my students the same thing. You can e-mail me anytime with questions or ideas and I am always around to help on your journey with the violin.
