1. See what they know.
2. Play them something simple. (Not too overwhelming.
3. Ask them to play something.
4. Ask them why the piano is fun to play and make sure I show them enthuziasm.
5. Help them with posture at the piano.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I possess a Bachelor of Music, emphasis in piano pedagogy from Pacific Union College, Angwin, CA. I been teaching piano since I was age 19, and with God's help received my Bachelor's at age 34.
