About
Besides just teaching students to read and perform music they love for recitals, auditions, and other performances, I absolutely love putting on emphasis on improvisation, songwriting, and composition.
I truly enjoy every detail of the process, and I teach my students to do the same.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always ask a new student about the kind of experience they have had with music in the past. This way, it helps me know where they are coming from both technically and emotionally. I also like to ask about their hopes, dreams, and goals so that I can personalize their lessons to best fit their needs while also tracking their progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began studying singing, dancing and acting at a young age professionally in regional and dinner theatres in Orange and Los Angeles County. I also attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. When I went to work for Premier and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, I was influenced by the musicians on the ships to start listening to all kinds of music. In addition, I was encouraged to further my studies in songwriting, composition, and audio engineering so that I could write and record my own music. As a result, I went on to receive her BA in Music Technology from California State University, Dominguez Hills where I also completed my single subject teaching credential in Music. I continues to teach private music lessons and provide my performance services for restaurants, country clubs, churches, private parties, and weddings in Southern California. I have also been a solo singer and pianist at the XIV Hakone Rikyu in Hakone, Japan.
