Ms.Esther is a dedicate piano teacher who truly masters her teaching career professionally and personally. Personally she is sweet and a very discipline person. Not only that her advices provided would be solely based on the best for your child, she also maintains her high standard in her piano performance teaching as well as her true caring for a child of all ages.
My two children would never come to this advancement in piano perform and all the preparation for ABRSM tests without Esthers support and advice throughout these nine years. She would accommodate all requirements that your child may have as well as provides a thoughtful suggestion that would benefit the child as a person.
I would highly recommend Esther to be a teacher to be a teacher of your child without any doubt if you are looking forward to a piano teacher either for a beginning level or a professional level. She is simply the best.
I sincerely thank you to Esther for these years for being our Piano teacher.

Esther has been teaching ABRSM Music Theory to our daughter as a transfer student since 2013, and shes taken her from Grade 6 through Grade 7 so far. They are currently working on ABRSM Grade 8 and AP Music Theory. In addition, our daughter has increased her time with Esther to include Piano Performance work at the Diploma level. What we like about Esther is plenty, but to sum it up:
1. Esther is organized. She started off our classes with a binder, which shows very to both parents and students her expectations and schedule, right from the start. For a family with a very hectic home life, this is a real bonus. We also really appreciate the fact that weve hardly had to cancel or change class times since starting with Esther. This has really helped us in planning our lives around piano.
2. Esther is adaptable. When the occasion does arise that we have to make schedule changes, Esther is very accommodating. This is particularly helpful when it comes to very unpredictable SoCal traffic. We live in Long Beach, and we dont have a problem with driving (literally) the extra mile each week to make Esthers class.
3. Esther is continually improving herself. Since we signed on with Esther, shes filled her studio with not just a piano and violin; she now has drums and an organ in place. We are very impressed at her range and repertoire - we understand she also teaches voice. In addition, she holds a recital every year at Atria Senior Living, and continues to encourage her students to perform publicly at various community events. Even though our (hectic - see above) schedule has prevented us from taking full advantage of the opportunities she has for our daughter, she has continued to show us, a family without prior musical tradition, all the available chances we have to show off our daughters skills, at every present level she is playing. Our daughters confidence in performance has improved tremendously, thanks to these opportunities, even though, up to very recently, she had only been doing Music Theory with Esther. With Esther, passing ABRSM at Grade 8 is only the start of your musical journey: there are always more instruments to master, more chances for personal and professional growth. Esther continues to encourage our daughter in doing the best she can, and we appreciate her open communication with us, the parents. We are confident that our investment in our daughters musical future is well worth it, and we are glad our daughter has such a great role model in Esther Park.
