Miss Esther is a very genuine and nice person. She is a good listener and has a keen sense on where to begin if you happen to be picking up from previous lessons from years ago like my son was. My son has made leaps and bounds in his progress in just 6 short months. We have a great respect for Esther. She is a joy.

I recently decided to take up piano and was lucky to have found Miss Esther. She is a great teacher, very encouraging and patient. She puts emphasis on technique but most importantly she encourages me to just have fun! I also like the fact that she's very accommodating when I need to adjust my schedule.

Miss Esther has many years of experience. She has helped my daughter improving her technical skill.

She is very patient and very encouraging. She helps me to see music as a work of art, even a language unto itself, and she sees music as something that can heal and comfort. At the same time, she is very strict about technique and proper form. So I feel that I get the best of both worlds in how to play music.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Offer a complete assessment and audition. We have detailed conversation regarding goals, interests, desires, other aspects which will correlate into a working relationship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

From 1st grade to High School I was taught by a Performing Organist.

In High School, I was taught by a Concert Pianist for 5 years

In College, I began as Piano Major. In the Bach Triple Concerto for Harpsichord, I was 2nd Harpsichordist.

I never completed a Major; for, I wanted so to learn many other areas of the Arts, World History, to continue in Latin and Spanish.

I received Magnum Cum Laude in English and a minor in Spanish.

Toward the end of College, I began to study under a Concert Pianist.  That Pianist was trained under Leon Fleishner.

During these years, I performed on Harpsichord and Piano. As well, studying with the Masters.  How fortunate was I to have a full Practice.
