Hello, Michael J, musical jack of all trades, master of some. Like to establish a solid, musical foundation as applied to the instrument. Been my experience that understanding basic theory, harmony, chords, puts you ahead of the game. Helps with memorization, enhance performance and drives composition.
Always customize lessons for each student. There are basics to learn, but everybody is unique and original, and the fun part is finding that special part of each student.
