Our son has been taking online piano lessons from Ms. Zarema for over a year and we are quite satisfied with his progress. Ms. Zarema’s professionalism, teaching style and patience made it not only possible, but even enjoyable for our son. We can confidently recommend Ms. Zarema to others who would like to try learning piano.

I have taken piano lessons from Ms. Zarema for a number of years. She is very knowledgeable, patient and kind, but at same time strict about setting the right foundation of piano playing: making sure my posture and hand position were proper.
Ms. Zarema provides opportunities for all her students to participate in a class recital which is held twice a year, as well as participation in music festivals.
In addition, I was able to take part in the Certificate of Merit test for a number of years, and each time progressing to a more advanced level.
I have played some very beautiful and fun pieces, some of which, I can play by heart to this day if I were to sit down.
I would highly recommend going to Ms. Zarema for lessons, she is patient and can teach anyone willing to learn! If I desire to take more piano lessons in the future I would sure go back to Ms. Zarema.

Zarema really tailored practice sessions to who I am as a person. She encouraged me to branch out to different genres but also recommended pieces that fit my style.

My two boys have learned about the piano craft with Teacher Zarema for over 10 years. They both received the advanced certification with the California Music Teachers Association’s certification program. Zarema is a very experienced piano teacher and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to play piano well!

I schedule a trial lesson. At that time I determine the student's level and learn about the student's goals. We both establish agenda to achieve the goals and select materials and books to assist us in that process.

I have Master degree in music education

My current rates for online and in studio lessons are $40/30 min, or $57/45 min.

I started teaching while studying music pedagogy in music college at age of 18.

I have worked with students of all ages and levels. I also have worked with students that have ADD and other learning disabilities.

According to my students and their parents, the last summer recital was "A lot of fun!" This time students performed piano solo and duet piano arrangements from musicals, cartoons and motion pictures as well as popular songs. From the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Star Wars to "Sweet Child O Mine" by Guns N' Roses.
