ModernTone Studios is a state of the art music studio in Lafayette, CA. We provide a nurturing learning environment for aspiring musicians of all ages and playing levels and encourage our students to be curious and get excited. We teach guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice, songwriting and music production, empowering you to reach your full musical potential.
We are all active musicians who perform regularly on stages all over the Bay Area. Passing down our knowledge and experience on is a labor of love, and it shows in the way we teach. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We believe in pushing students to their full potential, but doing so in a positive, nurturing and encouraging way. We believe that music should be created and practiced in a soulful, inspiring, and comfortable environment. We believe that high-end, finely tuned instruments inspire musicians to play better and perform better in recording sessions and lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of us here at ModernTone are professional musicians who play in bands, perform, and record. Our lessons are tailored to your unique goals, musical taste and the amount of time you have to practice every week. We are fluent in music theory and have tons of experience in creating a personalized curriculum that will take you where you want to go.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have experience with students as young as 6 and as old as 90 as well as all playing levels.
