About

Dynamic Energy Arts Practices combines Principles from Various soft (internal martial arts) and hard style martial arts focusing on Dynamic Relaxation, Rotation and Root. We don't just teach 'moves' or forms but rather teach you how to move with fluidity, dynamic relaxation and whole body momentum and power.

Students learn master keys of soft power, fluidity, controlling an opponents center of gravity, footwork, and powerful root (center of gravity and balance).

Core Elements derived from Tai Chi, Bagua, Kun Tao Silat and Monkey Boxing. No long fixed forms, just simple gestures, stances, postures, principles, shapes, strikes, kicks, sweeps and self defense applications.

Mind/Body connection training includes: Seated and standing meditation with Taoist breathing, primary energy centers of the body and Taoist elliptical walking for health and energy cultivation.

instructor John Adams has over 35 years of martial arts training and 27 years of teaching experience. Silver Glove in Boxe Francaise Savate (1991), instructor at large for Jiulong Baguazhang since 2007 and Monkey Boxing de Thouars instructor since 1998.

I enjoy teaching students to learn and apply the basic principles of dynamic soft power, fluidity and rootedness. Seeing students improve and gain insight into the principles in action and daily life is very rewarding.
