How did you get started teaching?
Teaching has always been a part of my personal story as a musician. I like helping people and giving them clear concise instructions for success. I also see how important music is in education for young people and want to be able to share that with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
Anywhere from 4-70 year olds. Most of the clients we've worked with were looking to play or sing as a hobby. Some were looking to develop for a more professional level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Seeing a piano student finally learn to play his favorite song Hands together.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's important to find a teacher that is personable, responsible, and also knows HOW to teach their instrument.
