About
Teaching is connected to my happiness. Playing the violin is my absolute passion and to be able to share my wealth in all I've been able to accomplish is the icing on the cake. So many of my past students have gone on to be in symphonies and chamber music groups all over Los Angeles county. With so many fun and exacting exercises that we do each lesson, seeing it come to fruition is beautiful. It's not militarized teaching, it's actually enjoying the pricess

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First thing I believe one must do as a teacher meeting a student for the first time, is learning their strengths and weaknesses. I start there, and focus on the weaknesses first. After noting what they all are, I give myself some "homework". My then assignment is to create a fun and efficient way of bettering those weaknesses. Makes the student all the more determined to practice. (:
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing violin for 14 years. 2 of my teachers were in the Los Angeles Philharmonic as well as chamber music groups all over the nation. I also studied at the Colburn school in Downtown Los Angeles for 3 years and played in their junior conservatory. I performed for 2 holiday concerts and the Disney hall with various chamber music Groups around town.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually like to get paid before a lesson session on the day of. Because I am still an active musician doing gigs and studio sessions, if something comes up and I can't make the lesson, I'll reimburse the money back to the student.
How did you get started teaching?
Right after high school I went to Junior college for music education. Learned some of the ins and outs, and stayed consistent applying the teachings.
