Hello,
I am Mrs. Barbara Morrill Piano Instructor. I have spent the last 50 years teaching music classes in school and private piano teaching in the Huntington Beach area. I have a Piano Studio here in Huntington Beach called Village Music located in Old World Village. I have owned and taught in this location for 30 years.
My piano students range from ages 6 years old to Adult students. I prefer to work with beginners to intermediate players. I teach each student to read music as well as how to play the piano.

I took lessons when I was a little girl and the teacher didnt teach me how to read notes/music. After about 40 years of not playing and forgetting everything I learned (the wrong way), I play reading music, because Barbara has taught me the correct way. Sometimes Im so surprised, it makes me cry. My only regret is that I didnt do this sooner. Although I play what people consider easy pieces, I just know one day I will play pieces from musicals that I love.

I am so so so glad that we found this amazing Teacher, Mrs. Barbara is one of a kind teacher, my daughter loves her and always looks forward to her piano lessons. Doesnt matter how old are to start learning but it does matter to have the best teacher. I will definitely recommend Mrs barbara if you truly want to learn how to play piano.
