Dianela is absolutely amazing! I take voice lessons with her and she has helped me grow so much. I have a degree in vocal performance and she has helped me continue my studies after college. She really takes the time to get to know you and your voice and personalizes lessons to you. Hands down the best voice teacher I have ever had!

Dianela is the best voice teacher I have ever worked with. She immediately saw the potential in my voice and was able to apply a slew of effective tools and techniques to help bring it out. Dia helped increase my pitch accuracy, quality of the sound, and all around increased my confidence by a million! I am a huge fan of hers and would recommend her to any student looking to enhance their skills and/or perform professionally!

Frequently asked questions

I hold a Master of Arts in Voice Performance from Denver University, where I also was a graduate teaching assistant. Prior to that I sang extensevely in New York with the Dicapo Opera, Amato Opera, New Yor Lyric Opera, and others.

In Boulder, I founded the Boulder Opera Company to  bring high quality productions and offer opportunities to local singers. I am contantly hearing great talent!

30 min $30 Usually recommended for beginners and kids under 10 years old.

45 min  $45 adults beginners and tenagers.

60 min $60 intermediate through advance

I enjoy working with all ages. My youngest students are usually 9 years old and up. A typical 30 minute lesson will consist of warm ups and learning/ singing a song.

I mostly work with students ages 14 through college age to prepare them for auditions and or specific roles.

One of my oldest students is in their seventies, and I am always amazed at his passion for singing.

If you are not making progress within 3 to 6 months of studying with a voice teacher, then it might be time to move on.
