About this pro

I have over fifteen years of experience teaching the violin and enjoy an active performing career.  Former students of mine have gone on to study at the conservatory level, or have simply continued to enjoy making music into their adult life in various settings.  I find music to be a lifelong endeavor and think it's important to learn from a teacher who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk! I continue to pursue knowledge and growth as a musician when it comes to my teaching and playing.

I love getting to witness my students' progress in both their music-making and personal growth.

She teaches both piano and violin to both my girls, we are blessed to have her as their teacher.

I'm an adult student of the violin, and I've been taking lessons with Nina for over a year now and she is an amazing teacher. Under her guidance I've improved both my sound quality and my bowing technique. I really enjoy her gentle teaching style. Her talent and passion for the violin shines through and I would recommend her to students of all ages.

She is very friendly. She has a lot of experience teaching. She creates performance opportunities for her students. She was clear about what to do for homework. She is willing to answer any question! My daughter and I likes working with her very much.

Nina’s aptitude for teaching and professionalism made her the top choice in our whole community for music education. I counted myself fortunate for my boys to have a teacher with her level of expertise in music and performance alike. She was able to make music lessons engaging and challenging and provided performance opportunities for my children in recitals. Nina also encouraged her students’ families to support local orchestral concerts and encouraged her students to see her perform as a violinist in other settings.
