About

I have been studying music since I was a child and am thrilled to be able to share it with my students! I am a classically trained singer and pianist providing private voice lessons and piano lessons for students of all ages, both virtually and in-person in the Denver/Highlands Ranch, CO area. A recent graduate of The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, I have performed varied roles in opera and musical theatre, and I love to help students discover all that their voices can do! I am comfortable teaching all styles of singing, and I work to foster a nurturing environment where my students feel free to explore music.

My primary goals as a teacher are to:

Foster a lifelong love and appreciation for music

Help students develop a healthy technique that will support them for as long as they want to sing/play

Support students in reaching their goals and building confidence

Create well-rounded musicians by teaching technique and musicianship in an engaging way, exposing students to a variety of genres and styles

Create a safe, stress-free environment where students can explore

Be a force of positivity for my students

Offer fun and enriching performance opportunities

I offer a variety of scheduling and pricing options.

Introductory offer: 5 lessons for the price of 4

I am a passionate music educator, having taught a wide range of ages from early childhood music classes to private lessons for adults. I maintain a private studio of piano and voice students and feel fortunate to be able to help children and adults of all ages discover the richness that music can bring to their lives.

Frequently asked questions

I have a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Bacheler of Music degree in Vocal performance from Stetson University.

It is extremely important to hire a voice teacher who has a degree (or two or three!) in vocal performance or vocal pedagogy! Surprisingly, a lot of people who teach singing lessons are not experts in vocal anatomy, and this is dangerous because learning improper technique can lead to bad habits and even vocal injuries. Always look for someone who has taken courses in vocal pedagogy and understands how the voice works anatomically. During lessons, be mindful of feelings of straining, pressing, or pain. Singing should never be painful!
