What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is orientation. Getting to know what a student is striving to achieve is critical to helping them get there. Also, getting to know the student some is also critical. I then introduce the lesson philosophy and explain the process. Next I listen to them vocalize to ascertain their vocal level. Finally I introduce them to their first lesson based upon their needs.
