I love being able to teach people to defend themselves. This is something I am very passionate about and have been involved with for many years. It is a weighty subject, but I bring many years of practical experience to the table and have a unique background that makes the training not only educational, but fun.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have well over 25 years of training in the subjects that I teach. I work professionally in the industry and have numerous certifications and many years of actual hands on application of the techniques and information that I present.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching self defense related subjects professionally for 20 years to civilians, law enforcement and commercial airline pilots. I started teaching as part of martial arts where we needed to instruct to be eligable for promotion. It blossomed from there and I now teach a number of subjects... it is my passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students with a wide range of ages, abilities, and previous experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please check out your prospective teacher, do they have more than just the basic credentials and do they have experience outside of taking an instructor course. Self defense and firearms are areas where you want more than just the minimum to get by.
