Hello! My name is Pearl Rutherford and I am a voice teacher in Littleton, Colorado. I have been teaching voice and piano since graduating with my voice performance degree in 1988. I teach a range of ages: from age 7, high school, college students, on up to age 70+. I specialize in teaching classical and musical theatre styles, but my students study and perform a variety of genres. Welcome to my lessons. I am Vincentband uts a pleasure to meet you.. You will find out quickly that I am a unique guitar instructor. I like to bring out not only theory and all the tools uoh will need to be your own guitar player...but the excitement in learning somethjng new. As with my special curriculum of theory and how ive added a couple of very important courses to my line up...although they aren't as traditional they are very important in my eyes one is technique. I am diversed in multiple styles and techniques these styles lend to. Including funk , punk, jazz , rock metal, rhythm and lead .just the techniques including palm muting

I've been teaching voice for 27 years to students ages 8-80 years old. I've taught Vocal Music in the public schools from grades Kindergarten to 12th Grade. I've also taught Vocal Jazz at Metropolitan State University of Denver to help create and launch the Vocal Jazz Performance Degree. I also specialize in vocal rehabilitation and recovery, as someone who had to rebuild my voice from scratch due to surgical trachea resection and reconstruction. I was told I would never sing again and God blessed me twice with a singing voice and I'm forever grateful. I want to share that journey and knowledge with my students, to give them strength and hope...
