Jacie Zou is a recent graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture.

Jacie’s work in Architecture and Music is shaped by an interest in sound, atmosphere and experience. With backgrounds in both disciplines, her teaching blends expressive storytelling and thoughtful musical experiences. Jacie aims to develop a strong foundation for learning music by focusing on technique, performance skills and musicality, while also emphasizing the importance of appreciating and enjoying music by nurturing creativity. Though her teaching, she hopes to foster a lifelong love for music.

Jacie maintains a small studio of classical piano and violin/viola students in Boulder and its surrounding areas. She has worked with younger students as well as adults and is passionate about making music approachable and rewarding!
