I have been teaching in my home studio for over 30 years. I speak fluently French and can also teach piano lesson in French language if preferred.
Due to COVID-19, My lessons have been offered online with great success! Many parents and students are enjoying learning from the comfort of their own home and saving traveling time.
I am the mother of 2 College sons who also learned piano from me. I love children and we get along great!
I am a member of the National Music Teachers Association, the Colorado and Aurora Music Teachers Association. I also belong to the National Guild of Piano Teacher, an International Organization.
I prepare my student for seasonal Recitals, Music Festival, competitive and non-competitive events and Guild Auditions, which happens once a year! These activities are not mandatory but highly recommended for those who wants to challenge themselves!
Although many activities have been cancelled lately due to Covid-19, My studio is still having seasonal ZOOM Student performances to keep the students focus in their daily practices.
My students learn Theory, Technic (scales, chords, arpeggios, Hanon, Dozen A Day, Composition, Ear training, Sight reading, Transposition, pieces from all musical periods (for more Advance student). We learn it all, having fun and without stress!!
I expect students to be prepared for lesson, with a minimum of piano practice and written homework done weekly!
Lessons are 30 minutes $25 or 45 minutes $35, private once a week! I ask to be paid each month before the first lesson of the month, for the entire month (4-5 weeks depending on the month).
Because the time of the lesson is reserve especially for you and cannot be replace by another student, If you missed or cancel a lesson for any reason, vacation, sickness, doctor apt… I still need to be paid. I have a full schedule, and because of the lack of space, I do not reschedule missed lessons. Students are welcome to switch in advance with other students as long as it is within the same week!
I ask for 30 days notice when the student decide to stop taking lesson, to give me time to fill in his or her space.
My studio is located in Centennial, near Parker & Arapahoe Rd. Some of my students come from Southland, Parker, Castle Rock, Highland Ranch as far as Golden! I take students as young as 6 yrs old, as long as they know basic alphabets and numbers and can focus through an entire lesson!
My openings fills up quickly. If this works for you, let me know as soon as possible! We learn a lot and have much fun doing it!!
Sincerely, Josee Seier
It gives me great satisfaction to see my students, at any level of learning abilities, blossom with love and knowledge of music. My students and I develop a very special connection and I look forward to seeing them every week!

Josee is an excellent piano teacher. The depth of music and piano knowledge that Josee is teaching to our child is amazing. She also cares about her students and their growth, which is apparent through the positive experience my child and our family have while watching and listening to our child develop her piano abilities.
Josee is the best! My kids have been taking lessons from Josee for the past 8 years, and Josee continues to nurture and inspire them! My kids LOVE playing piano, and I thank Josee! My kids enjoy playing piano for all of the recitals, Achievement Days, Guild testing, and competitions throughout the year that keep them motivated. Plus, it’s special to hear my kids play piano at the holidays.
She is extremely knowledgeable about piano theory and performance; and my daughter has really excelled under her teaching. We have been students for a little over 4 years and my daughter has advanced well beyond what I thought was possible in that time. I would highly recommend Josee.
We have been students of Josee for 7 years. 3 of my children take lessons from her and she has been able to adapt to their different learning styles, personalities, and has helped encourage them to learn and love learning.
